    • Story Data: The full content of the interactive stories you create and publish, including text, branching paths, narrative logic, character profiles, and other story elements.
    • Story Metadata: The information you voluntarily provide for your stories, such as titles, descriptions, cover art, and category tags (e.g., “Fantasy,” “Mystery”).
  • Player Interaction Data:
    • Gameplay Choices: The choices you make while playing a story, which are necessary to advance the narrative.
    • Comments and Ratings: Your reviews, ratings, and feedback on stories.
  • Communications: We store a copy of your communications when you contact our support team or participate in surveys.

3. Our Commitment Regarding Large Language Models (LLMs)

To provide a dynamic and rich interactive experience, StoryPlayX integrates Large Language Models (LLMs) into certain features. We make the following core commitments regarding their use:

• Data Isolation and Protection: We solemnly pledge that we will never use your personally identifiable information, non-public content (such as story drafts), or your specific gameplay choices to train or fine-tune our language models.
• Functional Use: Our LLM services are used exclusively for real-time processing of your inputs during gameplay to generate corresponding interactive content, strictly following the logic and framework pre-defined by the story’s Creator. The LLM acts as part of the story engine, not as a data collection tool.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC) and Content Distribution

As a UGC community, sharing and distribution are central to our platform.

• Public Visibility: When you “publish” a story on StoryPlayX, you understand and agree that its Story Data and Metadata will be made public and accessible to others, including registered users and unregistered visitors.
• Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of and all intellectual property rights in the content you create. This policy does not transfer any of your ownership rights to us.
• License Grant to StoryPlayX: To enable us to legally operate the platform and showcase your work to a global audience, you grant StoryPlayX a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use the content you publish. This license allows us to:
  • Host, Reproduce, and Display: Store your work on our servers and display it on our website, apps, and other channels.
  • Modify and Reformat: Make necessary technical modifications to your content to adapt it to different devices and display formats.
  • Distribute and Promote: Include your work in our recommendation systems and use excerpts or metadata from it for promotional purposes, both on and off the platform (e.g., on social media or partner channels), to promote your story or the StoryPlayX platform.
• Termination of License: This license terminates when you delete your content from StoryPlayX. However, you acknowledge that content that has already been shared by others or indexed by search engines may not be immediately or completely removed.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Correction: You can access and edit your account and profile information at any time.
• Content Management: As a Creator, you can edit, update, unpublish, or permanently delete your published works at any time.
• Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information, except for public comments you have made and any data we are legally required to retain.

6. Children’s Privacy

StoryPlayX is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users in this age group. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take immediate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through a platform announcement, by email, or by other means.
