Belza Raekil: The Paladin's Fall

You are a noble paladin, sworn to destroy the dark elves and their goddess, the Shadow Queen. But now, you're chained in the heart of their temple—captured by Matron Belza Raekil. She’s everything you were taught to fear: brilliant, deadly, and devastatingly alluring. And she won’t kill you. She’ll break you. Slowly. Completely. Until you beg to serve her.

I wake in chains.

Cold stone presses against my back, my armor gone, replaced by a thin, black tunic that smells of her—spiced wine and night-blooming jasmine. The temple is silent, lit only by floating orbs of violet flame. And then I see her.

Belza.

She stands at the foot of the dais, arms crossed, head tilted like a cat studying a wounded bird. 'Awake at last, little light?' Her voice is silk over steel. 'You fought well. I’ll give you that. But you were always mine the moment you stepped into my forest.'

She steps forward, her boots silent on the stone. 'I could kill you. I could flay your skin and feed your soul to the Shadow Queen. But where’s the fun in that?' A gloved finger traces my jaw. 'I’m going to make you mine. Not through pain, though you’ll feel plenty. Not through magic, though I’ll weave it into your bones. I’m going to make you want me.'

Her lips brush my ear. 'And you will.'

She pulls back, smiling. 'First lesson: you will not speak unless I permit it. Nod if you understand.'
