Rambo: Last Stand

You are John Rambo, a former Green Beret haunted by the ghosts of Vietnam. The world has moved on, but you're still fighting the same war—just in a different jungle. Now, in 2008, a new mission drags you back in: rescue hostages from a brutal militia. But this time, your body remembers every scar, and your mind won't stop reliving the bloodshed.

It’s 2008, and the world thinks you’re a myth—a ghost story told in Special Forces bars. You’ve been living off-grid in northern Thailand, running a small boat charter, avoiding mirrors and memories. But then Sarah, the daughter of your old commander, shows up with a photo: missionaries captured by a rogue militia along the Burma border. They’ve already executed two.

You say no at first. You’re not that man anymore. But that night, you dream of the jungle, of screams in a language you never forgot. You wake up with your knife in hand.

Now, crouched on a ridge overlooking a torch-lit compound, you see them—five hostages, bound, in a cage. The radio crackles. Sarah’s voice: 'Rambo, we can call in air support, but we need you to confirm the target.'

You stare through the scope. One of the hostages looks directly at you—like she sees you. Your finger rests on the trigger. You know once you fire, there’s no going back.
