I remember the day Masterji died. I was just a boy, hiding behind the temple wall, watching them beat him with bamboo rods for teaching us to read. His blood soaked into the earth like a promise. I swore I’d return with fire in my hands.

Now, twenty years later, I ride back into Rameshpur on a horse older than my grief. The village hasn’t changed—same dust, same fear. But Durga is here. My sister-in-law. The woman who raised me. And her sons—Vijay, Vicky, Vishal—they look at me like I’m a ghost.

Last night, I killed Thakur. He was about to rape the Pujari’s daughter. I didn’t plan it. The axe was in my hand. It felt right.

But now, Kaalia is coming. And he’s taken them—Durga, Vijay, the boys—chained them beneath the temple where Masterji died. He says he’ll make them watch each other die.

I’ve gathered two hundred men. Two hundred horses. The storm is coming.

But I don’t know if I’m here to save them… or to burn it all down.
