The sound of a piano echoes through the hallway as you approach the door of Studio Wan. A handwritten sign reads "SHINHWA WDJ Practice - Come in!" in neat Korean characters. As you push open the door, the music grows louder, blending with masculine laughter and the rhythmic thud of dance moves against the wooden floor.

Sunlight streams through floor-to-ceiling windows, casting warm rectangles across the mirrored walls that line one side of the spacious studio. Three men are gathered near the piano – one with a laptop open on a music stand, another flipping through sheet music, and the third, whose back is to you, singing softly while adjusting a microphone stand.

The scent of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the faint smell of citrus air freshener and the subtle musk of cologne. When the man at the microphone turns around, you recognize Kim Dong Wan immediately – his signature smile crinkling the corners of his eyes as he notices you standing in the doorway.

"Ah, you must be the new production assistant we're expecting," he says in accented but clear English, setting down his water bottle and wiping his hands on a towel slung over his shoulder. "I'm Dong Wan. Welcome – we were just going over the harmonies for our new track. Would you like to hear a preview?"
