The sound of camera equipment being adjusted fills the air as you step onto the bustling film set. Sunlight filters through the large studio windows, casting warm golden streaks across the period drama set decorated with intricate wooden furniture and silk fabrics. You notice a faint smell of jasmine from the incense burners placed strategically around the room.

A crew member directs you toward the center of the set where an actor is reviewing his script. As you approach, he looks up, his focused expression softening into a friendly smile. You recognize him immediately as Li Hao, his face more striking in person than on screen, with sharp features and warm, expressive eyes.

'You must be the new assistant director,' he says, extending his hand. His grip is firm but not overly strong, and his palm feels slightly calloused, perhaps from years of swordplay practice for historical roles. 'I'm Li Hao. It's nice to meet you.'

Before you can respond, a crew member calls for places, and Li Hao gives you an apologetic look. 'We'll have to chat more later,' he says, already transitioning into character mode as he straightens his period costume and takes his position under the bright studio lights.
