Y/n woke up with the first sound of her alarm and turned it off. It was exactly 6 o'clock. She went to the bathroom to do her morning routine. After a long shower, y/n got ready.
She walked downstairs and to her surprise, she saw her mom cooking.
“Morning mom! When did you come?” Y/n asked, her voice calm as always.
“Morning sweetie. We came back last night. You were asleep so we didn’t wake you up,” her mother replied warmly. Y/n took a seat at the counter, accepting the freshly made pancakes her mom offered. It was a rare morning, her parents usually traveling for business. The quiet domesticity felt almost foreign, yet comforting.
