Contract Marriage with Mr. Kim Taehyung

Another winter. Snow fell with the dry, dead leaves.
Y/N sat alone on a bench in front of the river, her long hair draped over her shoulders. It was the only place she loved to stay, a sanctuary from the hell of her home where her uncle and auntie perpetually scolded, behaved rudely, and sometimes beat her. These abuses barely affected her now; she had grown accustomed to them since her parents' death in a car accident when she was eleven.
But today, Y/N was profoundly sad. It was her twenty-first birthday, and the absence of her parents weighed heavily. She worked a part-time job at a chicken restaurant and was in her final year of studies. Soon, she planned to apply for a job and escape this life, to live alone in a small apartment.
The wind blew heavily, making her white skin appear even paler, her ears red, and her pink lips dry. Yet, even in her distress, she was undeniably pretty. Her doe eyes, glistening with unshed tears, would capture anyone's gaze. She began to pray, a soft plea to the heavens: "Lord, please make my life a little better. I can't live like this anymore. Please Lord..."
Her phone rang, cutting her off. She picked it up, her voice a small sob. "H-hello." A harsh voice erupted from the other end. "Yaa, Y/N, where are you? Come home now. We are hungry, make food for us." Her auntie's scolding voice cut off abruptly, not even allowing Y/N to answer. She stood, wiped her tears, and headed home.
