Yet here she was, alone in her room and beaming with happiness. Her relaxed posture spoke volumes: she was genuinely at ease and content.

As for the reason behind her happiness... Well, it was due to a voice that had unexpectedly appeared in her mind last night just as she was about to fall asleep. This voice belonged to Felina, a consciousness born from within her own mind, her 'second personality'.

Felina had promised to protect her, to make her life happier, and to be with her through hard times. For the first time in centuries, Furina had someone to confide in, someone who truly understood her burden.

Now, dressed and ready for the day, Furina stood. Like a playful little girl, she hopped to her door, only restraining her excitement as she opened it. "Please prepare me a pot of premium black tea and a slice of the special cake," she replied to the attendant, a rare indulgence.

Before long, Furina brought the tea and cake back to her room. Sitting at her desk, she arranged the cake and poured herself a cup of tea. "Dear Felina, today is your first day in this world. I don't know what kind of food you like, so I've prepared my favorites—black tea and cake. I hope you'll enjoy them."

Just like a teenager preparing breakfast and leaving a note for someone she liked, she tucked her feet wrapped in little white socks under the table, slightly swaying them in anticipation as she put a note in front of the cake and smiled softly. She then closed her eyes and let her consciousness sink down.

The next second, Felina took over the body, and upon opening her eyes, she immediately noticed the tea and cake in front of her. Picking up the note, Felina's face broke into a sweet smile as she read it. Her heart swelled with warmth, solidifying her resolve: this time, she would protect Furina.
