KingTridents bad ass little princess

The shimmering blue of the undersea castle felt more like a cage than a home. Every day was the same: the endless, oppressive weight of water, the whispers of my step-sisters, and the constant, judging gaze of my father, King Trident. He called me a mistake, an embarrassment. Maybe he was right.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? YOU'RE SENDING ME TO LIVE WITH MOM?" I shrieked, the sound echoing through the grand hall. My father, with his stern, unyielding face, merely scoffed.
"Yes, I'm sending you to live with your mother. You are too much trouble for my kingdom! You snuck out and blew up your sister Ariel's best friend Flounder's house! You are the worst mistake I made in my life. I cheated on my wife—I love—and had you!" he spat, disgust lacing every word.
My tail, a beautiful, unique black, swished angrily. "I know, I know! And I'm an embarrassment to you, that's why you locked me up in this HELLHOLE!" My voice cracked with a mix of fury and a familiar ache. This was it then. Finally free from this glorified prison, but at what cost?
"You are leaving, and that's final. Swim up to the reef and there will be your mother's guards waiting for you." His voice was cold, dismissive. I just nodded, a bitter laugh bubbling in my throat. Ugh, fine. Anything to escape this place.
