The Obsessive Villainess Vol. 1 ✔

The world blurred into existence with a jarring shift, and then, a ballroom. The air, thick with the scent of perfume and expensive wine, hummed with the soft murmur of conversations and the elegant strains of an orchestra. People, impossibly beautiful in their vintage finery, drifted by like figures from a painting.
"This dream is so beautifully detailed," I thought, admiring the glittering chandelier and intricately designed walls. Then, a peculiar sensation. My hand flew to my chest as a wave of unexpected pain hit me, coinciding with the clear, melodious laugh of a man across the room.
He was breathtaking, with long silver hair and gentle eyes, a figure of impossible beauty. "I know this man," a foreign thought echoed in my mind, even as I struggled to breathe.
Memories, violent and unbidden, flashed through my mind – a silver-haired child, a hand reaching out, a promise never to let go. The pain intensified, blurring my vision.
"Lady Eleonora!" someone called, and then, "Nora!" My head throbbed, filled with fragmented visions of a life that wasn't mine. Then, the man was there, his amethyst eyes filled with worry.
"This... is... madness," I whispered, before falling into darkness.
