Chapter 1 Chapter 1

It was a bright and sunny day. White fluffy clouds drifted across the clear, blue sky. The distinguished guests dressed in their fanciest attire gathered on the top floor of a five-star hotel. They were here to celebrate the wedding ceremony of Evangeline, the Oldest daughter of the Carter family. She was getting married to Mark Johnson, the man she had been dating and engaged to for the past four years. The floor was covered with white snow lilies and red roses with a long red carpet cutting through from the entrance of the hall down to the aisle. The fresh fragrance filled the air. The guests happily stood along the carpet, all smiles and sending their best wishes. Evangeline was in a grand room getting dressed by the two stylists and their assistant that was hired to help her with her makeup. She sat in front of the dressing table as one of the stylists was applying make-up on her face while the other one was styling her hair. "Miss Evangeline, you look perfect in this dress. The dress surely was made exclusive for you!" The stylists commented when she did a light touch-up on her face after they assisted Evangeline in her beautiful wedding dress while the other stylist helped Evangeline straighten the back of her dress properly. But Evangeline didn't utter a single word in return to the head stylists comment. The stylists swallowed back the rest of her words, she was already expecting such a reaction from Evangeline. 'It turns out that the rumors about Evangeline were true.' The stylists thought when Evangeline didn't bother to respond to her remarks. Sitting down in front of the mirror, Evangeline opened her eyes to see herself in the mirror and glanced at the wall clock. "Is it done?" She asked when she noticed that she has only limited time before the wedding ceremony begins. "Yes ma'am. I have already applied the minimum make up and it will not irritate you anymore." The stylists replied as she looked at Evangeline. Earlier, Evangeline had thrown a fit the first time her makeup was done. She had even asked the stylists to redo her hair style many times until it was satisfactory. "Is there any other problem, Miss Evangeline?" One of the stylists asked nervously when she noticed Evangeline's gaze was scanning the room. "Where is Christine and why isn't she here? She was supposed to help me with the wedding dress but I can't find her anywhere." Evangeline asked looking the stylists that had questioned her. "Does Miss Evangeline want us to go and get Miss Christine for her?" The head stylists asked. "No need. I will find her myself." Evangeline replied curtly. Hearing Evangeline reply the stylists looked reluctant, the couldn't have the bride wandering around but no one dared to argue with Evangeline because they feared the harsh personality she possessed "Alright, that's enough. You all should get out of here and give me some alone time." Evangeline said in a rude manner to the stylists and waved her hand signaling them to leave the room. The stylists bowed slightly before they all left the room without making any arguments. Afterall, they had successfully completed their task. Evangeline was now satisfied with the make-up and she was going to be the most stunning woman at today's event. After the stylists left, Eva had a beautiful smile on her lips which made her look more stunning as she imagined herself, the bride and Mark on the altar exchanging rings and sealing their vows with a kiss. She couldn't contain her happiness and let out a chuckle. Evangeline stood up from the seat and slowly walked towards the floor-to-ceiling mirror to check herself out. "I am so gorgeous." Evangeline gasped in awe as she stared at herself confidently. A pleasing smile appeared on Evangeline's danity face. Her slender finger brushed on the multicolor eye-catchy bouquet which had flown from overseas on her request. She was wearing an elegant designer wedding gown accentuating her slender lossom physique. She was truly a beautiful goddess, there was no denial to that fact. She must have been the reincarnation goddess of beauty. Her well sculptured smooth round shaped face, heart shaped pink lips, long wing-like eyelashes that fanned her cheeks anytime she blinked, and a snow white skin, were all that complimented her beauty. Picking up her phone, Evangeline sat down and dialed a number to only get a robotics reply. 'The number you have called is not reachable.' "Where the hell is she? Why isn't she picking up my calls?" She mumbled in between her breath because according to the time, the wedding will start soon. Evangeline stood up from the sit, she planned to give Christine an earful when she found her. She lifted her front dress and walked out the room. She gritted her teeth in anger, she wasn't supposed to be wandering around like this on her wedding day. However, she had no choice but to find Christine herself. Christine was supposed to help and assist her with the wedding dress but she wasn't there. Evangeline walked along the long hallway, she was happy that there weren't any guests passing by at the moment. After walking through the hallway, Eva still couldn't find Christine. She decided to try calling Christine again before she gave up and went back to her room and called back the stylists to help her with pinning her wedding veil to her hair. Still not getting the response she was expecting, Eva turned around back to her room when she heard a voice coming from one of the rooms. Eva raised her eyebrow cause she found the voice very familiar, she took a step towards the room. Evangeline bit her bottom lips hard as she stretched out her hand and reached for the doorknob and opened the door slightly so that the people inside the room wouldn't be alerted of her presence. "What is wrong with you, Christine? Why do you have that look on your face?" Mark asked as he grabbed Christine by the shoulder. Christine slowly raised her head up and looked up at Mark with teary eyes. "Why are you crying, Christine? You know I hate it when you cry. Tell me what's wrong with you?" Mark demanded with a worried voice. "Do you have to marry her? I thought the plan was different. I can't just watch and feel happy seeing you getting married to my sister. It makes me sad." Christine said sniffing her nose as she cleaned her eyes with the back of her hand. Evangeline who was outside the room door couldn't help but gasp in shock. What is her soon-to-be husband - Mark, doing with her sister - Christine, in a room. But she was more concerned about what they were talking about. "I know it's a different plan. I was supposed to break off the engagement with her before it led to us getting married. But, I need you to believe that I also don't want to do this, however, I have no choice but to get married to her. You know that." Mark's voice sounded colder than what Evangeline was used to. "I know. I'm just afraid that might grow feelings for her after you both get married. I'm also a woman and it's natural to get jealous and battle insecurities.""Haha…..how can you start thinking about such a silly thing? Evangeline and I have been together for four years and I didn't fall for her. I can't stand her at all, after six months of marriage we are getting divorced. I only have eyes for you." Mark reassured Christine. "Are you sure?" Christine's eyes glowed as she looked at Mark to confirm. "I am sure. We would get divorce after six months. Just wait for me." Mark reassured her again. He touched Christine's face and towards her. Evangeline covered her mouth with her hand. At that point, the world felt surreal to her and she felt like she was in a dream. Her entire world came crashing down as she watched the two sharing a passionate kiss. She pursed her lips together and gathered all her will power as she unlocked her cellphone and video both Mark and Christine. Unable to continue watching the act, Evangeline turned on her heels and walked back to her room. The day has just turned out to be her worst nightmare.

Chapter 2 Chapter 2

Standing across the road, Eva glanced back at the hotel where the event was being held for a few seconds before turning her attention back to the road. She reached out her hand to stop a cab that was driving towards her way. After the taxi stopped in front of her, she got in and settled down in the back seat of the cab. "Where to Miss?" The cab driver inquired. "T-take me to Grand land hotel." Eva replied in a weak and calm tone. She would rather be in another place than to stay back at the wedding event and witness the happy smiles on both Mark and Christine's face while she gets mocked by everyone. Grand Land hotel is a well-known and popular hotel. She didn't know much about the hotel but she heard about it on television and saw it on online platforms. The hotel was not only popular because it was a very nice hotel, it was said that the hotel has a club where people went often to have fun and spend their money. The club even had a private separate club which was known as the VIP section for rich and influential individuals who have also come to spend their money and time. Today Eva was planning to go and try the popular hotel now that she was in a very miserable state of mind. The driver packed the car in the parking lot while Eva alighted from the car, she got money from her purse and paid him before she made her way to the entrance. The whole area of the hotel was heavily surrounded with security guards, most because the hotel was not just some regular, random clubhouse. Eva ignored the guards and walked towards the entrance. She wasn't too surprised when she saw how the club hall was packed and filled with many people doing different kinds of activities. Eva wasn't in a good mood at the moment to stare around, she strolled to the bar counter and sat down on an empty seat down at the bar counter. A bar attendant approached her from inside the counter. "What would you like to order for, Miss?" He inquired curiously as he began mixing the drinks that were being ordered by other customers. Eva was quite clueless about the kind of drink she should order for. Although, Eva was always picky with whatever she ate or drank. However, she was not in the mood for being picky and she was sure that this place doesn't serve the kind of alcohol she drinks. "Just give me the strongest drink you serve here." Eva waved her hand and requested for the strongest drink. Her eyes roamed around the bar while waiting for the bar attendant to serve her drink. "Here you go, Miss." The bar attendant said as he passed a glass of mixed drink to Eva. Eva grabbed the glass of drink and down the whole glass in one go. She hissed slightly as the taste of the unknown alcohol burned her throat but she didn't stop as she ordered for more drink. Right now, this alcohol was what she had now, she was seriously wishing that the alcohol would dissolve all of her pain and misery at the moment. "That damn bastard!" Eva cursed inwardly as she gulped down her drink. Her mind wandered off to what happened again at the hotel, she was sure that no one had noticed that she was missing from the event. Thinking about the kind of happy smile that would be plastered on Christine's face when Mark broke off her wedding and announced the engagement between him and Christine made clench her fist and down another glass of wine. She should have known where all this would lead to. This was all her fault, she should have canceled the engagement before it all got to the wedding but because of her pride and ego she didn't want to cancel the engagement. Eva knew that Mark has always had a soft spot for Christine, anytime Mark sees Christine he always has the over-protective, gentle and caring expression towards Christine. However, in her case Mark always had this displeased and infuriated expression whenever she was around him. Eva just had to overlook it, she didn't ponder much on it because she thought that he was always gentle towards Christine because everyone always sees Christine as an angel thanks to her demeanor. Although he does not say it…..it was quite obvious that Mark liked Christine more than her. Even though she thought there was nothing between Mark and Christine then, out of jealousy Eva had always been harsh and treated Christine badly whenever she got the chance to. However, she was now able to understand it all, Mark wasn't just only kind and over caring towards Christine because of her demeanor. It was because he has always viewed her as a woman instead. "Why did you have to put up with me when you couldn't even tolerate me and went ahead and humiliated me in front of everyone?" Eva muttered silently to herself and poured herself another cup of drink. Earlier she had ordered the bar attendant to give her a bottle of whiskey as she couldn't wait for the bar attendant to pour her another glass. "I should have seen through your betrayals, or maybe I was just being delusional and didn't want to accept the reality but look where it all got me." Eva drank the rest of the drink in her glass. She hiccuped a little bit as she filled up her glass. The light at the bar area was dimmed and the music in the whole club was pretty loud. A few customers had left the bar and were dancing on the dance floor. She was the only one sitting at the bar, completely wasted and utterly drunk but she didn't stop when she knew she was drunk. She kept pouring and filling her glass until she finished the whole bottle of whiskey.

Chapter 3 Chapter 3

Inside the Grand land VIP section. The VIP section didn't have any glaring neon lamps or loud music. On the contrary, the environment was rather quiet and intimate. This was where the urban white-collared workers and wealthy rich individuals came to relieve their stress. However, in a private room, a small social gathering was taking place. The gathering consisted of all the well- known bachelors in the city and highly wealthy businessmen. In a dark corner, A man who had a cold and aloof aura with an indifferent expression was being surrounded by a group of people. These groups of people present weren't just ordinary wealthy people, most of them were the top giants of Miami and seeing them was very rare, however, they were all gathered here in one place not because of the event but because they were here because of a special guest who was no other than the man sitting in the dark corner. "It's very rare to see Mr. Cross in this kind of social gathering. This time must have been an exception for Mr. Cross." The man said with a smile on his face. He was the chairman of HB Corps Simon Davis. Both the HB Corps and Cross Enterprise have been business partners for the past 5 years. "However, I'm glad that I could see Mr.Cross here today."Getting no response, he became more anxious thinking Damien was offended by his words. He quickly beckoned for a pretty lady in a tight black body con dress a few meters away to come over. "Mr. Cross, please enjoy this little gift from me. I made sure to prepare the very best for you." He glanced at Damien and smiled. The lady in the black dress was exceptionally beautiful but it was all thanks to the heavy makeup and bright red lipstick. The black dress hugged and outlined her body perfectly, showing her curvy hips and big breast. There wasn't a man who sees her that wouldn't definitely allow her to serve him. However, Damien didn't look at her, he just frowned in disgust and irritation when he heard Simon. "It isn't needed." His deep voice sounded as he refused before the girl could near him. The girl froze in place when she heard Damien's straight forward refusal. She could only plaster a forced smile on her face and stood beside Simon. "Chairman Davis, I've been hearing some rumors and I don't think it's wise enough of your younger sister to go around pretending to be my fiancée. I have no fiancee and neither have I ever met your sister or plan to. If you can't clear the thoughts of her mind, you can consider our contract being terminated as a special gift." Damien stated in a stern and affirmative tone with an indifferent expression. Simon was dumbfounded by Damien's words. Since when did his younger sister start spreading such rumors and he did not know about it. He needs to have a long conversation with her when he gets home. He can't allow her to use her foolishness to ruin his life. "I…… I…. I… I didn't know my younger sister did such a thing. However, don't worry, Mr. Cross. I'll definitely talk to my sister and make sure to clear up all such rumors. You don't have to go that far to terminate our contract." Simon hurriedly remark. " I hope you do bid on it. Now, if you would excuse me." Damien nodded his head and stood up from his seat and headed out of the private room to the men's room. After Damien left, the girl in black dress took her seat next to Simon, folding her arms in front of her chest. " What was the meaning of what happened earlier, Simon? You said if I dolled up and look pretty, that Mr. Cross would definitely court me? He didn't even spare me a glance!" She spoke angrily, feeling agitated by how she was treated by Damien. He wiped aways the sweat that had formed on his forehead when he heard that Damien wants to terminate the contract but knowing that he still had a chance, he was relieved and turned to look at the girl. "Kira dear, I already have a plan. Besides, no man can ever withstand your charm and skills, not even me. That's why I chose you because you're perfect for this job." Simon whispered as he leaned forward and planted a kiss on Kira's cheeks. Blushing in embarrassment, Kira gently pushed his face." Stop it, this place is an open place and beside right now I'm only for Mr. Cross " She said. "What, do you think I'd be going through this stress to get you hooked up with Mr. Cross without you returning the favor." He remarked as his hand gently caressed Kira's exposed leg sliding his hand inside her gown but Kira immediately slapped his hand away. "You really have to stop this, Simon. Mr. Cross didn't even look at me. Who knows if the rumors about him liking men was true. He is always going around with that handsome looking secretary of his." Kira remarked, she couldn't believe that Damien didn't even feel attracted to her. It affected her feminine charm. "And if Mr. Cross comes back with you doing this, it would surely ruin everything. I'll definitely make sure to return the favor later, if you can get me hooked with Mr. Cross." Just as she finished speaking, Damien returned from the restroom. Seeing that Damien still didn't spare her a glance as he took his seat, she pouted her lips and she lowered her voice. "What and how do you plan to get me together with Mr. Cross?" she questioned. Simon was a little annoyed that Kira stopped him earlier, but when he heard her question, a smirk formed on his face. "You have to seduce him." Simon said. "Excuse me, what was I trying to do earlier? Is that really your plan?" Kira inquired, confused by what Simon meant. Simon chuckled when he saw the confusion on Kira's face. "From the information that I've gathered, Mr. Cross would be spending the night here. Later, I'll drug his drink with two doses of aphrodisiac. Once the gathering is over, you can just make your way to his room and the rest is on how you seduce him. There would be no way he would be able to resist you once the drugs take effect." Simon explained to Kira with a grin on his face. Kira grinned from ear to ear, hearing Simon's plan."I knew you figured out a brilliant plan but can't you make the doses three?" she asked, feeling excited about the plan. "Unless, you wish to handle the consequences if something happens to him?" Simon replied. "Fine." They kept talking about their perfect plan but neither of them stopped to think of the consequences. Damien Cross, wasn't just the CEO of the Cross Enterprise. He was a man that even the government wouldn't dare to offend, not even the leaders of the underworld wanted to get on his bad side. No one dared to plot against him and ever get away. Those that did are longer living.

Chapter 4 Chapter 4

Meanwhile, at the club on the first floor. Eva was still seated at the bar counter and completely drunk as she had already finished two bottles of alcohol and was on her third bottle which was about to finish. The bartender who had been watching her from the sideline walked up to her when he saw pouring the remaining drink in the bottle to fill her glass cup. "Miss, I think you should go home now. You're too drunk or do you have someone who can come pick you up?" He said as he cleared the bottles in front of Eva. "Home?" Eva repeated. She also wanted to go home. She wanted to sleep in her soft and comfortable king-size bed. Tonight was supposed to be her wedding night which she was supposed to share with her lovely husband. However, it was just wishful thinking. "How pathetic!" Eva muttered and downed the rest of the drink in her glass. To think the night of her wedding day would be spent at a hotel…. Well, at least it was a five-star hotel and a very famous one. "You," Eva waved to the bartender to come over. Because of her high tolerance in alcohol, the alcohol had yet to take over her body as she was left with a little bit of sanity. She knew it was dangerous to leave this place in her current state so she decided to spend the night here, it wasn't like anyone would look for her anyway. "Yes, how can I help you, Miss?" The bartender asked as he glanced at Eva. He wondered what a beautiful lady like her was doing in such a place, all drunk. Eva might have not noticed but just sitting alone at the bar counter had drawn much attention to her. "Where can I get a room in this hotel?" Eva asked. The bartender could tell that it was obviously her first time coming to this place, so he wasn't surprised if she didn't know where to get a room. "Miss, you have to take an elevator to the second floor where the main lobby is." He replied while pointing towards the direction of the elevator. "Second floor. Okay thanks." Eva opened her purse and paid the bill of her drink before hopping off her seat and stumbled her way to the elevator. When the elevator, Eva stepped out of it. As expected, the lobby of the hotel was quite spacious and big. The flooring was beautiful and the beautiful chandeliers hung up. Surprisingly, the loud music from the club on the first floor couldn't be heard thanks to the soundproof. Eva made her way to the receptionist table, stumbling a little bit as she walked. "Welcome, Miss, to Grand land hotel. How may I help you?" Immediately the receptionist saw Eva walking towards her, she stood up from her seat and greeted professionally with a smile on her face. "I need a room. And it should be a very comfortable room with a king-size bed." Eva inquired as she leaned against the receptionist table. "If Miss requires such a room, then our VIP room can meet up with Miss requirements." The receptionist replied, completely understanding what Eva meant even though she didn't explain. "VIP? That would do. Give me a room then." Eva said. "Then, I would request for the Miss ID card?" The receptionist said. Eva opened her purse and gave both ID and credit card to the receptionist. After a few minutes, "Here you go, Miss. Your room keycard." The receptionist respectfully handed back Eva's credit card and the hotel keycard to her room. "Your room is situated on the 65th floor." Eva collected her ID and the hotel keycard to her room before walking away. Entering the elevator, Eva stumbled for a quick second. She steadied herself and pressed the button for the 65th floor. Inside the elevator, she felt her body temperature rising drastically. It felt like she was being soaked in a hot spring. The effect of the alcohol was already taking its final hit on her as she was slightly dizzy. Throughout the elevator ride, Eva constantly fanned herself with her keycard which wasn't sufficient. Ding The elevator door opened, revealing a long light brown hallway that was brightly lit. Eva stepped out of the elevator and fidget with her steps to find her designated room number. She felt as if thousands of ants were crawling on her body. "I just need a nice warm bath and change out of this forsaken dress." Eva muttered. Arriving at the end of the hallway still not finding her room. There were only two doors across from each other. Eva looked at the door on her right, then the door to her left. Since her vision was blurry, she had to squint her eyes in order to focus and see the number written on top. "Rumm….3…35…05." She lifted her hand to scan the keycard to confirm if it was the same number. creak Oblivious to her surroundings, Eva wasn't aware of the sound of another door opening abruptly behind her. Before she could notice a pair of hands grabbed her by the shoulders. "Miss, I'm really sorry for this!!" Eva was suddenly shoved into the room across from her room followed by the door slammed shut. Inside the room, Eva was immediately grabbed by another pair of strong hands. These hands that grabbed her were more fiercer than the one that grabbed at first. "What…." Before she could react, she was suddenly pushed on the hotel soft bed. "Ahhhh!!" Eva yelped loudly with her mind in a complete mess due to the alcohol. "What is going on mm…" She was unable to finish her words when a shadow toppled over her and she felt something soft abruptly covered her lips which made her body froze on the spot. Eva mustered her strength and tried to push and hit whoever it was away, but all her efforts were to no avail. She tried her best until she lost all energy and her body became so weak. "I need your help for tonight." A man's deep voice growled near her ear. Even though she was in a messy state of mind. Eva tried to struggle again because knew what was going on and also knew this was totally wrong. "No…. Stop…..I can't help…." Yet again, she was forced to swallow back her words when those lips crashed against hers. "Stop…. I don't want this." No matter how hard she tried to refuse, at the same time, she didn't know what was wrong with her body nor did she have the slightest clue about who this person was. However, at the same moment her body was hot each time she felt his cold hand brush against her skin, her body would react in a way that made her want him too. Just as the thought came across her mind, the person above her freed her lips and whispered into her ears. "Be good." Eva didn't know what came over her, it was as if she was enchanted by his words. Immediately those words escaped his word, her body felt weak and she lost her complete self.

Chapter 5 Chapter 5

The next morning, the sun was just peeking in the sky, slowly brightening up the whole city. Eva was sleeping soundly on a soft king-size bed in a hotel room. Eva let out a soft groan in pain as she groggily blinked her eyelid. 'Ughhh!!....Why do I feel so weak?'She felt like a person who had been specially graced and honored with the biggest hangover. She felt mouth was dry as she clutched her head which was throbbing in pain with her hand. Eva tried to open her eyes but due to the faint light from the rising sun outside that had shined through the small gap in the curtain which brightened up the darkroom. Eva had to close her eyes back and blinked a few times to adjust to the brightness. Staring at the unfamiliar ceiling, and taking a proper glance at the room. It was spacious, the walls were painted in white giving the room a bright ambience. It was decorated with various expensive modern furnitures giving the whole room a cozy and homey atmosphere. Eva could tell that this was a hotel room despite the homey vibe it gave off but this made her crease her brows together because she had no memories walking into this room last night. 'Where am l? What happened last night?' She recalled herself getting extremely drunk at the club. Then…. that's right. She was told to go to the second floor and booked a room. Was this her room? Eva lifted her body upward to sit up but suddenly a hiss escaped out of her as she felt an intense amount of pain in her entire body. Even her lower place was aching in pain….a lot. Still managing to force herself to sit up, she hissed out. 'Argh!! It hurt like hell! Just what the hell happened to me!! Eh?! What is this-' Eva stopped her thought as her body went stiff when she realized that something heavy draped over her waist. She slowly turned her head and was horrified by the sight she saw next. "Eeekk!!" She quickly covered her mouth in order to stop herself from screaming. 'OH! MY! GOD!!!!!!! A man!!!! What is a man doing lying beside me?!!!' Although the blankets covered his body from his waist downward. With common sense she could still tell that he was naked underneath the bed cover because one of the man's legs was also on top of hers. The instant Eva saw this sight, her face was derived from all colors and turned white. The corner of her mouth twitched uncontrollably. 'W-ho is this man?' Her heart began to panic. Eva closed her eyes as she tried to recall how things led to this situation. 'Think, think, very hard, Eva! Just what the heck happened last night? Did you get so drunk that you went wild and brought a man into your hotel room?' As she thought hard to remember what happened, images of last night slowly flooded back into her brain. She remembered drinking three bottles of alcohol, booking a room, entering the elevator, being grabbed by an unknown person when she was about to enter her hotel room….and then…..and then…. "Be good." A deep masculine voice resounded in her head. Eva's eyes popped open as she screamed internally, the entire night till morning….she and him… 'Somehow he has a charming voice. No, wait, who cares about his voice. The most important thing is, I just had a….a one night stand with a complete stranger.' The colors on her face turned even paler as she turned to glance at the man sleeping beside her. 'Damn it!!!' Eva inwardly let out a curse. Remembering everything that happened last night, her mind was in total chaos at the moment. Lifting her hand and clutched her head tightly, who knew she was going to spend her wedding night with a stranger. She lifted the bedsheet again to sneak a peek at her naked body once again, and she was completely baffled by the many visible bite marks. The constant throbbing pain in her body made her wonder how many times they did it last night. She was too drunk to remember. 'Evangeline!! How could you be this stupid and careless?!! Aahhhhhh!!!!' Eva screamed crazily on the top of her lungs in her mind as she continued berating herself, feeling a little disappointed. It was her first and she had to lost her virginity to a man. And most of all, she thought her first would be memorable, doing it with the man she loved. However, she couldn't even remember how the whole night of her first time happened Eva stopped rampaging in her mind when she felt an intense stare from her side. "You're awake?" A deep voice sounded near her. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard his voice. She robotically turned her head toward his direction. Deep dark eyes that were shining brightly like a glistering universe, yet they were gazing at her intensely. Despite the cold and aloof facial expressions, Eva went frozen as she couldn't help but be captivated and stare at those dark eyes that looked like they were seeing through one's soul. Eva felt suffocated for some unknown reasons as they stared at each other without blinking. "Arghhh!!" Eva yelped. Without a warning, the man's hand that was still wrapped around her waist pulled her closer to him, making her fall back onto the bed and came face to face with him. Eva was startled and tried to push the man away, but he had her sealed tightly between his embrace. Seeing that her effort was useless, she took a deep breath trying to calm herself down. "Mister, can you let go of me. I don't want you to get the wrong idea but what happened between you and I last night was only a one-night stand…..so if you don't mind let both pretend none of this ever happened." Eva remarked. She can remember back then from her friends that a lot of people had one-night stands and there were no strings attached to it. Since this was exactly like their situation, she was hoping that the man would be understanding of what she meant. "Who said this was a one-night stand?" Hearing the man's deep cold words, Eva was stunned. 'Haha…Eva, what in the world have you gotten yourself into?!!!' Eva struggled again but his right hand held her in place, his sharp gaze boring deeply into hers almost like a vicious glare. Eva gulped then furrowed her brows as she thought about his words. "What do you mean? Isn't this…." Eva was unable to finish her words, as he cut her off mid-sentence with a low growl. "I said this isn't a one-night stand. And you have to take responsibility."
