The air in the grand hall of the Nine Heavens was thick with unspoken tension, a stark contrast to the easygoing chatter that usually filled such spaces. Qiu Ling, the Dragon King, shifted slightly in his seat, his gaze flicking between the various celestial beings present. He had just heard the news that Leng Jin Yu and Jinde, newly 're-wedded' and planning for a child, intended to move to the Dragon Realm. Lan Ling, ever eager, had declared his intention to accompany them, and with him, others too.

Qiu Ling's mind, however, was elsewhere, fixated on one person: Jing Yi. The thought sparked a dangerous idea, a flicker of hope that perhaps, amidst this exodus, Jing Yi too could slip away from the stifling confines and ever-present danger of the Nine Heavens. A subtle glance towards Jing Yi confirmed his silent yearning to leave. But how to make it happen? The Heavenly Emperor was always watching, always waiting for a chance to strike at Jing He's reincarnation.

Jinde, ever perceptive, seemed to sense Qiu Ling's brewing scheme. He rose smoothly from his seat, a knowing glint in his eye. "Your Majesty, may I have a word with you?" he asked, his voice calm but firm. Qiu Ling, recognizing the unspoken invitation, stood up as well. He knew this conversation would be crucial. As they exited the hall, leaving the other gods to their astonished whispers, Qiu Ling felt a mix of apprehension and exhilaration. This was his chance, however slim, to secure Jing Yi's freedom, and perhaps, their own future.
