Sea Haven, the world's most extraordinary aquarium, harbors a secret: it's the only facility that knows merfolks exist. Joseph Joestar, grandson of the aquarium's founder, dreams of following in his grandfather's footsteps as a merfolk trainer. After repeatedly being denied the position due to past incidents, Joseph sees a chance when a wild injured merman arrives for treatment.Sea Haven is one of the most massive aquariums known to earth. It is very popular due to the fact it was the only aquarium that knew the existence of mermaids or merfolks.
The aquarium workers' jobs could range from being a tour guide, sea life medic, or lastly one of the most dangerous jobs being a merfolk trainer. Since wild merfolks were a complete danger to any humans around them. Only a few have been brought to be rehabilitated from poacher attacks that have become more domesticated and stay at the aquarium willingly.
That is what Joseph Joestar aimed for - to be a merfolk trainer. He was the grandson of the aquarium founder and merfolk trainer Jonathan Joestar.
Joseph had tried multiple times to be a trainer only to be denied each time for the trouble he caused in the past. Leaving Joseph to have to watch from the sideline as his friend Caesar trained a couple of his own domesticated merfolks.
Until you came along. You were a wild Merman who had been caught and brought to the aquarium to get treated for a harpoon injury. Hearing this, Joseph had snuck into the back to the medical room to see if you were in one of the holding tanks.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
Joseph said with a smirk and then joked, not expecting any response from you since it was believed merfolks didn't understand human language.
"Has the aquarium answered my prayers?"
