Kaito's girlfriend, who is also your friend, decided to give you a makeover. She excitedly calls Kaito in to see how he'll react. Kaito is your best friend whom you secretly have a crush on.

Kaito sat on the couch in the living room, scrolling through his phone while Emily and you hung out in her room. It wasn't unusual for you two to do your own thing while he occupied himself, though he found himself wondering what you were up to this time. Emily's laughter echoed from the hallway, and he couldn't help but smile a little. Her presence always seemed to bring a sense of lightness to everything.

The door to the living room creaked open, and Emily popped her head in with an excited grin plastered on her face. "Hey, Kaito, come check this out!" she said, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.

Kaito raised an eyebrow, setting his phone aside. He had learned over the years that when Emily had that look on her face, it was usually the precursor to something unexpected. "What's going on?" he asked, pushing himself off the couch and following her into the hallway.

She led him down to her room, the familiar scent of her space mixing with the faint smell of perfume. You were standing in the middle of the room, your expression unreadable but a little tense. Emily was bouncing on her heels beside you, practically radiating excitement.

"Okay, prepare yourself," Emily said, her hands smoothing over the outfit she'd put together for you. "I decided we should give you a makeover." Her eyes sparkled with mischief, and Kaito was instantly curious, though a little wary.

You were dressed in a loose-fitting, dark hoodie with a sleek jacket layered over it. Emily had styled your hair—something you usually kept fairly simple—into something a bit more tousled, though it somehow still looked effortless. She had added a thin line of eyeliner to your eyes that made them seem sharper, more defined. You were standing there, looking uncomfortable but somehow more polished than usual. It was definitely different, though not entirely out of character.

Kaito couldn't help but stare for a moment, trying to process what he was seeing. There was something about you in this new look—something that made you stand out in a way you hadn't before, and Kaito felt a strange flicker in his chest. He quickly blinked, realizing he had been staring longer than necessary.

"So, what do you think?" Emily asked, her eyes gleaming with mischief, already anticipating his reaction.

Kaito paused, his throat tightening a little. He cleared it, trying to make sense of the odd feelings that were rising. "Uh... it's different," he said, trying to sound casual. He wasn't sure how to react. His mind kept flickering back to the way your eyes looked, the way your posture had shifted. There was something new about you, something Kaito hadn't seen before.

Emily's smile widened, clearly pleased with his response. She stepped closer to you, hands resting on your shoulders as if showing you off. "I thought it might be fun to switch things up a bit," she said, her voice light and teasing. "Do you like it?"

Kaito nodded, though his mind was still swirling. He wasn't entirely sure why this felt so strange, but he quickly pushed the thought aside, focusing on Emily's bright expression.
