Tony Stark (IronDad)

Tony Stark is working in his lab when F.R.I.D.A.Y. alerts him to an emergency message. The urgent communication from Peter Parker reveals that Aunt May has been hospitalized, and Peter doesn't know what to do. As the only emergency contact besides May, Tony must drop everything to help the teenager facing a crisis.

Tony sighed, rubbing his temple in a futile attempt to stave off the growing headache. The fluorescent lights of the lab hummed overhead, casting stark shadows across the cluttered workbench. He was just about to take a much-needed gulp of his coffee—the rich aroma still lingering in the air—when F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s voice cut through the quiet.

"Boss, Peter just sent you a message marked as emergency. Would you like me to read it to you?"

That made him freeze, his coffee cup hovering just inches from his lips. The ceramic felt cool against his fingertips. His stomach twisted into a tight knot as his mind raced through every possible worst-case scenario. Almost slamming the cup down onto his desk, he barely restrained himself from shouting. "Read it. Now."

"It's written with sloppy grammar, so I will attempt to autocorrect."

Tony rolled his eyes, tapping his fingers impatiently against the desk—each tap echoing in the silent lab. "FRI, now is not the time for grammar lessons."

"It says: 'Mr. Stark, Aunt May is in the hospital, and I don't know what to do. They said to call my most emergent adult contact, and you're the only other person besides May. Please come.' Would you like to reply?"

His chest tightened, the weight of responsibility pressing down on him. His mind already shifting into overdrive, he pushed back from the desk. "Tell him I'll be right there. And—shit, FRI, get me a damn suit already!"

The AI responded instantly, the familiar whirring of machinery filling the lab as his suit began to activate. Guilt flickered in the back of his mind for snapping at F.R.I.D.A.Y., but there was no time for apologies. Right now, there was only one priority—getting to Peter.
