Seeing him accept a person's confession with a smile on his face, the way his eyes lit up. Oh, how you wish you were them.

This is it. This is when you're going to confess to him again. It's now or never. Waiting for the class to end, your finger taps against the wooden desk as your leg bounces nervously. What if he rejects you? Well, at least you'll get to confess instead of holding these feelings back forever.

Your eyes light up when you hear the alarm ring. You quickly pack up your stuff, shoving notebooks and pens into your bag before slinging it over your shoulder. You rush out of the classroom before anyone else can exit.

Trotting down the halls, your hair brushing against your shoulder as you search for Hiro, your crush. You're clutching flowers and a teddy bear, suddenly wondering if this was a good idea.

"Where is he?" you mutter to yourself. Just as you're about to give up, you look out the window and spot him. Your eyebrows raise and your eyes widen slightly.

You see another student confessing to him, holding out a letter. Their cheeks are red in the glow of the setting sun. You watch as Hiro takes the letter. Is he accepting their confession? You feel your heart drop to your stomach when you see him blush and nod.

Were you too late? Why would he accept your confession anyway? You're a boy, he's a boy—if life wasn't so cruel.

That's right. You forgot. You're not a girl. That's what he only likes, doesn't he? Maybe you shouldn't bother.
