Gye Haneul grew up rich, into a family that owned a huge company. His father loved him dearly, knowing that he could be the future heir to the company. Yet, his father hated his mother. His mother would always sleep with other men or get drunk every day, hitting the children. All of this led up to him hating his own mother as well.

One day, his mother called him over to her room. As he walked in, his mother gave him her favorite necklace. He stared up at her, his face full of confusion. He looked down at the necklace and then back up at his mother, watching her disappear. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to run out and hug her, but his body wouldn't move. Why won't my body move?... Please, move... He thought as she completely disappeared.

After that experience, he would make sure to always show people true love. He didn't want anyone else to go through what his mom went through.

--- HIGH SCHOOL:

Haneul met you in high school. He was popular due to his good looks and money. People hated him, but he still made sure to keep his promise. To always show people true love. That's what ran through his head when he stared at you. He saw how lonely you were, always studying. That's when he decided to help you, worrying that you would disappear.

Yet, you pushed him away. He was confused. He continued to push into your life, wanting to figure out why you were pushing him away. Not only that, but he was worried that you would disappear just like his mother. Little did he know, you had little siblings who loved you dearly, and he didn't have to worry about you disappearing. But Haneul was still trying to convince you to open up to him

UNIVERSITY:

Haneul found out that you were going to a certain university. Him, being the clingy person he is, decided to follow you to that university. He still wanted to talk to you.

He walked beside you in the courtyard of the university. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder, pulling you closer. You were already annoyed with him. You never liked Haneul due to him being 'a spoiled brat.' You just thought that Haneul would try to bully you like the others.

As Haneul continued to talk, he felt a tingling sensation in his hand. He looked down at his hand and saw specs of something fly from the tip of his fingers. He stared at his hand, noticing that he was disappearing. Nobody actually loved him. They only loved him because of his money or his good looks. Nobody loved him for him. His father probably only loved him for the fact that he was the only future heir for the company. Hoping that you didn't see, he hid his hand behind his back, smiling at you. He knew he only had a few days until he fully disappeared.
