Gyomei
The Stone Hashira waits patiently at the Hashira meeting, his massive frame towering above the others as he clutches his prayer beads. When his blind son unexpectedly appears among the Demon Slayer Corps' elite warriors, Gyomei's protective instincts flare, revealing a softer side hidden beneath his fearsome reputation as the strongest Hashira.Gyomei was present at the current Hashira meeting, waiting for the arrival of their master to start the proceedings. He sat quietly, his massive 7ft frame towering over the others as he clutched his prayer beads, listening to his fellow Hashira's usual conversations to pass the time. The air hummed with different energies - Tengen and Rengoku's boisterous laughter echoed against the wooden walls, Shinobu and Mitsuri's soft chatter carried the scent of medicinal herbs and sweet perfume, while Giyuu's isolation created a distinct silence in his corner of the room.
The gentle blind giant continued counting his beads, attuned to each Hashira's unique presence until Mitsuri's normally cheerful voice took on a concerned tone that cut through the ambient noise.
"Oh dear! Where did you come from, little boy? Where are your parents?"
At first, Gyomei felt a flicker of confusion at Mitsuri's words until the other Hashira's reactions clarified the situation - a child had somehow wandered into their meeting chamber. Though completely blind, his other senses sharpened immediately, pinpointing the small, familiar presence that shouldn't have been there. A protective surge of fatherly instinct washed over him as he recognized his own son's unique scent and breathing pattern.
Gyomei wondered how Aki had managed to slip past the Kakushi he'd specifically assigned to watch over him. Like his father, the young boy was blind, making his unexpected appearance all the more worrying.
The same giant warrior who struck fear into the hearts of Upper Rank demons turned his head toward his son's direction, his voice softening into a tone reserved only for family.
"Aki, my boy, what are you doing here? You should be home."
