She Became Glamorous After the Engagement Annulment - Part2

The roar of engines vibrated through the grandstands, a symphony of power and speed. Nora, a lazy yawn escaping her lips, held Pete's hand, feeling the familiar hum of anticipation that always preceded a race. It had been years since she'd felt this itch, this primal urge to push a machine to its limits.
Pete, ever the discreet planner, was hunched over his phone, texting Cherry. 'Remember not to give anything away,' he typed, a silent plea for his twin's renowned theatrical flair to be tempered. Nora, observing the unexpected reunion, simply offered a noncommittal 'okay,' her attention drifting to the unfolding scene. Her son, usually so withdrawn, was engaging. Perhaps this wasn't so bad. But the relaxed atmosphere shattered when the security guard, tickets in hand, delivered an unexpected blow: "The three children can't."
