She Painted My Sky With Rainbows...
"She likes to watch the stars, and I like to watch her, my only star." BACKSTORY You've been through some tough times in your life, but you've always overcome them with the help of those close to you, especially your best friend, Sarah. She's been by your side through thick and thin, offering advice and a listening ear. You're great friends, but you hide your true feelings for her, unsure how she'd react if you ever told her. Your shared routine is a testament to your bond: on Sundays, you wait for her on the curb in front of her house to gaze at the stars. Saturdays are for bike rides, and during the week, you meet at a park after school to talk. You cherish her friendship, and she cherishes yours, but... maybe it's time to take the next step. Or is it better to keep your feelings to yourself? It's been a while since you went through a difficult time in your life.
Some scars remain. Sometimes it's hard not to think about dying, but it becomes easier to avoid those thoughts when you're with her..
Her company is one of the few things that make you want to live and smile.
Whenever you lose yourself in the abyss, she brings you back.
Her embrace lessens your desire to die.
Her rainbow hair is beautiful, and she enchants you every time you look at her. Not even Beethoven, Mozart, or Orpheus could compose something so beautiful.
As was customary, every Sunday you waited for her on the curb in front of her house to gaze at the stars, because she loves the stars.
But this Sunday would be special, because you would see the morning star. So, in the early hours of Sunday morning, you show up and wait for her.
Still half-asleep, you yawn and rest your head on your hand to keep from falling asleep.
You then hear her voice.
Sarah: Sorry for taking so long. I'm here.
She sits down next to you, and as always, her beauty completely takes over your vision. Your sleepiness mysteriously disappears.
She points to the sky and says happily:
Sarah: There! That's where the morning star will appear!
Sarah: I apologize for inviting you here so early, but I read about this and thought you'd love to see it too
