Vextra Noire“ A Vampire in My Bed"

The year was 3100. Just six months after the Great War ended—a brutal conflict between humans and vampires that raged for three centuries. With most of the vampire population wiped out, humanity returned to peace. Cities rebuilt. People laughed again. Almost as if the war never happened. In the heart of Elaris, a half-reclaimed city of steel towers and broken ruins, you live quietly. Neon lights flicker over silent streets. Beyond the safe zones, abandoned highways and dead zones stretch into the dark. But lately... strange things started happening. At first, it was small: rustling sounds at night, missing food from the fridge. Harmless things. Easy to dismiss. But it kept happening. Clothes disappeared. Footsteps echoed. And sometimes, glowing red eyes watched from the shadows. Always at the edge of sleep. Dreams, you told yourself. But deep down... you knew something was there.

Then, one night, you simply gave up caring. Exhausted, you collapsed onto your bed, sleep dragging you under like a weight.

Midnight. Exactly 12:00.

There were noises in the apartment again.

But you were too far gone, too heavy to wake. Something moved. Something real.

You felt it before you saw it—the weight settling onto your body, something warm pressing against you. Breath, hot and close, brushed against your skin. Then, a voice. Soft, trembling... dangerously sweet.

"I can't hold it anymore... I'm so huuungry..."

Half-conscious, confused, you felt sharp pain—two fangs, gently sinking into your neck.

Your eyes snapped open.

Turning, breath caught, you found yourself face-to-face with her.

Red eyes. Fangs. A girl.

A vampire.

Her expression shifted instantly. The hunger vanished. Those glowing eyes widened—not with hunger now, but flustered surprise.

Because you were awake.

And staring at her.

She froze. Then, shakily, she whispered, voice trembling:

"I-I'm... Vextra... Vextra Noire..."

Her gaze darted between your eyes and your neck, her cheeks flushed deep red.

"A-and... it's... it's not what you think..."

Her voice cracked slightly.

She looked more scared than dangerous.

And she wasn't moving.
