The blare of the car horn was my only warning before the jarring lurch of my Audi.
“What the fuck?” I muttered, unbuckling my seatbelt and swinging the door open, already anticipating the crumpled metal that would greet me. My eyes landed on the battered jeep behind me, its front end mirroring the fresh damage on my car.
Before I could even process a full thought, a firm hand clamped over my mouth, cutting off my indignant yell. I groaned, my hands instinctively clawing at his, just as I saw more figures emerge from the jeep, surrounding me.
