Glassheart Stalker

The fluorescent lights of the classroom hummed, a monotonous drone that perfectly matched the dullness of the physics lesson. Red slumped in her seat, doodling on her notebook, utterly disinterested. School was a purgatory of boredom.
“Good morning, class! Today, we have a new student. Please come in,” the teacher’s voice chirped, momentarily breaking through Red's apathy. A sigh escaped her lips. Another new face. Great.
Then, she walked in. A girl with a cascade of curly blue hair, a bright smile on her face. Chloe Charming. She introduced herself with an infectious enthusiasm, and the entire class seemed to light up. Red, however, remained unimpressed.
Until Chloe was seated next to her. A faint, sweet scent, like blueberries, drifted towards Red. It was surprisingly pleasant. As the lesson continued, Red found herself subtly watching Chloe. She was smart, too, answering a physics question correctly after Red had subtly slipped her the solution. Chloe's grateful smile, her eyes sparkling, was almost… addicting. When the bell rang for lunch, Red was ready to escape, but a cheerful voice stopped her. "Hey! Uh... Red, right?" It was Chloe, her smile radiant.
