Beep Beep Beep!!!!!! My stupid alarm jolted me awake from my peaceful slumber and I groaned, realizing I had to go to work. Why couldn't I be rich and stay in bed all day without worrying about earning income to supply my needs?

I lay in bed for five more minutes, weighing the pros and cons of going to work. The pros, unfortunately, outnumbered the cons. Left with no choice, I got up and began my routine. After showering and getting ready, I sat on my bed and checked my phone, finding twenty missed calls and five messages from my best friend Christine. Ignoring them, I decided I'd call her after work.

I quickly dressed in my usual black pencil skirt and white long-sleeve top, pulling my hair into a ponytail. Checking the time, I realized I had only fifteen minutes to get to work. Luckily, I didn't live far and owned a car, so I grabbed my phone and handbag, rushing out the door.
