Red Gear

Red Gear
In a future fractured by a forgotten war, humanity clings to existence within biodomes, shielded from the monstrous wasteland outside. Above all, the Kingdom of Trudian reigns supreme, its power unchallenged, its corruption festering. Yet, a rebellion stirs, the shadowy organization 'Majesty' promising change, even as its fringes turn to terror. Caught between these titanic forces, a brilliant, unassuming young man stumbles upon a secret that could shatter the fragile peace. With a mysterious, powerful Gear at his command, will he rise to challenge the world's titans, or be consumed by their conflict? His journey to change the world begins now.

The year is 4020. In the northern hemisphere, nestled within a biodome, lies Sakura City, renowned for its cherry blossom trees and the majestic mountain within its confines.

In a room cluttered with machine parts and movie memorabilia, 17-year-old (Y/n) Nexstar was fast asleep, his head resting uncomfortably on a small robot connected to his computer. The screen glowed with the triumphant words: "Download Completed."

The little droid, known as Aiba, stirred beneath (Y/n)'s head, her internal mechanisms whirring. "Tch. Sir."

(Y/n) mumbled incoherently, deep in slumber. "Zzzzzzz..."

Aiba’s voice sharpened, "Sir!"

Still, only snores answered her. With a sigh of what could only be exasperation, Aiba stood, lifting (Y/n)'s head briefly before deftly extracting herself. His head plummeted, hitting the desk with a sharp thud that echoed in the quiet room.

"OW!" (Y/n) yelped, jolting awake and rubbing his throbbing forehead. He squinted at the small robot. "What the hell, Aiba?!"

Aiba’s synthesized voice was devoid of remorse. "You should have known better than to drool over me."

(Y/n) groaned, stretching his stiff neck. "I should have installed a pillow on you... I'm going to go sleep in my bed. With any luck, I can continue my dream."

Just as he collapsed onto his bed, a series of knocks resonated from his door. "The person you are trying to contact is trying to sleep at the moment, please try again later," he called out, burying his face in the pillow. But the door opened anyway, revealing the familiar face of Tifa Heartfilia, his childhood friend.
