The year is 2053. New York City hums with its usual vibrant energy, a testament to humanity's resilience after the tumultuous African Wars. Second Lieutenant Daniel Ramirez, a Marine forged in the crucible of that conflict, jogs through Central Park, his mind buzzing with anticipation for Comic-Con.
Suddenly, an unearthly purple dome shimmers into existence on the Great Lawn, growing rapidly. Awe turns to terror as horsemen wielding swords and shields, followed by monstrous minotaurs and centaurs, pour forth from the anomaly, trampling civilians and turning the park into a battlefield. Daniel's military instincts kick in, pulling him from civilian life into a desperate fight for survival.
He engages the bizarre invaders, his combat training a stark contrast to their primitive, yet deadly, methods. As police droids fall and chaos reigns, Daniel rallies civilians, leading them to a rooftop, desperately calling for military backup. The world, it seems, is about to change forever.
