Trapped in an apocalyptic nightmare, Charlotte dies in a fiery explosion, only to awaken in a dazzling interstellar era. No more zombies, no more starvation—just a peculiar new body and a job as a convenience store cashier. But when a routine day turns into an unexpected robbery, Charlotte's hidden past clashes with her new reality, forcing her to confront powers far beyond her comprehension. Will her reborn abilities be enough to navigate this strange, new universe?

The tunnel was dark, gloomy, and damp, filled with the pungent scent of decay, blood, and damp earth. Charlotte moved through it, her flashlight casting a weak yellow beam that only highlighted the oppressive darkness beyond. Her footsteps, though hurried, were deliberately quiet, her breathing heavy.

Her left hand throbbed, blood dripping from injuries sustained during a violent forced landing. She had no time for pain, only for the burning faith that propelled her forward. Hope lay ahead, just a little further.

At the tunnel's end, a massive metal door appeared. Before she could approach, faint roars echoed from behind her. She rushed to the door, but it was unyielding. The roars grew louder, something terrifying drawing closer. In an inconspicuous corner, she found an electronic combination lock, still powered.

Time was running out. She bit the flashlight, pulled out her dagger, and with practiced precision, pried open the panel. A quick cut of a wire, and a loud 'Beep!' echoed. "Warning! Warning! The access control system has been destroyed by abnormal means. Laboratory No. 0 will initiate the self-destruction program in 5 minutes!" A mechanical voice announced from inside.
