The Bad Boy, Cupid & Me

A crumpled pink note landed softly on Chloe Armel’s lap, interrupting her English teacher’s passionate monologue about poetry. It was from Emma, her latest 'client' in the intricate world of high school romance.
“Chloe! IT WORKED! Thank you, thank you, thank you! He asked me out to dinner for Saturday night, he mentioned the La Pierre? OMG I am so excited but nervous at the same time, I couldn't have done it without your help! Love, Emma P.S - WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?!!”
Chloe smiled, a small, knowing smirk of satisfaction. Another successful match, another grateful friend. She quickly scribbled a reply, her advice precise and elegant, like a perfectly aimed arrow from Cupid’s bow.
“Em, I'm glad everything worked out, just like I thought it would. La Pierre? It's a really classy French restaurant, so you should wear something formal. I'd say keep it Audrey Hepburn-ish - aka; little black dress. Keep cool, don't forget to smile and have a blast! Much Love, Chloe”
From the corner of her eye, Chloe watched Emma’s shoulders relax, a wide smile blooming on her face. This was her purpose, her calling. She was Chloe Armel, ‘Cupid's Assistant,’ the girl everyone at Prescott Private School turned to for matters of the heart. She just helped do what the chubby, half-naked baby with a dangerous weapon often forgot: shoot them both.
