Dear Darkness (Book 2 - P.S. I'm A Creature)
The world has changed. Under the chilling "Experiment Bill," anyone with a hint of power is hunted, forced to surrender or face execution. But what if the real monsters aren't those with powers, but those who wield power over others? Viktor, a creature of the night, is bound by a monstrous hunger and an even more monstrous lover. Haunted by a past he can't escape and a murder he can't forget, he's a pawn in a game of survival. When old friends resurface with a dangerous proposition to confront his own demonic origins, Viktor must choose: remain a captive to his dark desires, or risk everything for a chance at redemption. Dive into a world where power is a curse, love is a cage, and the line between monster and human blurs with every drop of blood.

The news anchor’s voice, a saccharine drone, filtered through the stale air of the hotel room. "Under the Experiment Bill, all humans who show a hint of power, no matter how small, shall turn themselves into the federal government within one week. If not, force will be used, and, if necessary, that person will be executed."

Viktor gripped the edge of the bed, knuckles white. Five years. Five years since that decree, since the world decided his kind were monsters. Beside him, Aaron mumbled, his hand reaching out from under the silk covers, touching Viktor’s bare back.

"Still watching that dumb law thing? It has been over five years since it was announced."

Viktor turned, his red eyes gleaming in the dim light. His skin, once vibrant, was now bone-pale, his hair a stark white from years of living on the run. "It's not dumb. It affects you, too."

Aaron chuckled, pulling Viktor closer. "Yeah, but I can't die like that. Or have you forgotten, Viktor?"
