SEA GREEN MEETS GOLD (N.M. & P.J.)
In Mystic Falls, where ancient evils lurk, Percy Jackson, a demigod of extraordinary power, seeks a normal life. But when the Original vampire Klaus arrives, threatening her friends and the delicate balance of the supernatural world, Percy is thrust back into a fight for survival. Can she protect those she cares about from a thousand-year-old threat, or will the darkness of Mystic Falls consume her?

The persistent ringing of her phone jolted Percy awake. Groaning, she smacked the device, declining the call without looking. But it rang again, a relentless, insistent buzz.

“What? I’m sleeping,” she grumbled, her voice thick with sleep. She was finally getting a good night’s rest, only for it to be interrupted. The trauma from the war still haunted her, manifesting in nightmares even after months.

“Well, wake up,” Damon’s voice drawled from the other end. “We’re having a group meeting.” He hung up before she could respond, leaving Percy glaring at the silent phone, cursing him silently. Damn him.

She’d moved to Mystic Falls a few months ago, hoping to finish her last year of high school in peace. It had been a struggle to find a school that would accept her after her… incidents in New York. She was just that talented at getting banned. The tired nineteen-year-old threw off her blankets, the cool air hitting her skin. A quick shower helped, the water waking her up, and a burst of her powers dried her body instantly. She pulled on jeans and a dark green sweatshirt that perfectly complemented her sea-green eyes.

Downstairs, she grabbed a handful of Oreos before heading out. Her house, courtesy of Poseidon, was conveniently located across from the Salvatore residence. As she approached the Boarding House, Damon emerged, a smirk playing on his lips.

“Hey Dae,” Percy greeted, forcing a smile.

“You’re late,” he countered, his smirk widening.

Percy rolled her eyes, pushing past him into the living room where the others were already gathered.
