CRIMSON VOW

CRIMSON VOW
Step into the shadowy halls of Nocturne University, an elite institution veiled in mystery, where secrets whisper in the dark. Aiah, vibrant and fearless, finds herself drawn to Mikha Lim, a transfer student whose eyes hold an abyss of ancient secrets. Their encounter ignites a dangerous dance of curiosity and undeniable pull, a connection deepened by an ancient blood bond. But in a world where vampires walk among humans and hunters lurk in the shadows, their forbidden connection could awaken forces beyond imagination. Will their crimson vow lead to ultimate power, or a destructive fate?

The air was thick with the pre-semester buzz, but for Aiah, it was just another cold December night in Manila. Colder than usual, perhaps, or maybe it was just the nerves. Nocturne University loomed, a gothic monolith against the twilight sky, its shadowed halls promising an exclusive education for the elite—and the… different.

Stepping out of her car, Aiah adjusted her black boots, the familiar red of her lipstick a bold splash against the impending gloom. She was used to turning heads, but the gaze fixed on her from a bench by the main gate was different. It was the gaze of Mikha Lim, a new transfer, whose eyes were an abyss, impossibly dark, seemingly lifeless yet brimming with untold mysteries.

“Tumigil ka sa pagtitig kung ayaw mong ma-fall ako,” Aiah quipped, a playful challenge in her voice as she passed. Mikha didn't smile. Instead, she rose, a regal silhouette, and approached. The silence of the night swallowed every sound save for Mikha’s deliberate footsteps.

“You’re not afraid of me,” Mikha’s voice was a cool whisper.

“Should I be?” Aiah countered, her heart thrumming a frantic rhythm beneath her brave facade.

“You should,” Mikha murmured, and then, as if a shadow, she vanished into the growing crowd.
