Bella's Hatred (Twilight Breaking Dawn Fanficton)

The air in the Cullen house crackled with the nervous energy of a wedding day, a hum of excitement beneath the surface. Upstairs, in what was usually her sanctuary, Bella Swan stood fuming. Her mother, Renee, oblivious or perhaps willfully ignoring the tension, spoke of wedding plans, of family. But Bella's mind latched onto one word, one name, that sent a jolt of pure, unadulterated fury through her.
"You did what?!" Bella's voice, usually a soft murmur, rose to a near shout, sharp enough to cut through the quiet hum of preparations. Downstairs, the Cullens, with their enhanced hearing, paused, a collective ripple of confusion passing through them. They knew Bella, knew her quiet nature, and this outburst was startlingly out of character.
Renee, ever the optimist, simply offered, "It's your wedding day, your brother and sister should be here. Why are you so opposed to this?"
Bella scoffed, a bitter sound. "Joe is fine, but I don't want Amiee here." The very thought of her older sister, of the golden girl who always seemed to outshine her, twisted in her gut.
"She's your sister, Bella," Renee insisted, a note of exasperation creeping into her voice.
"I don't care," Bella spat, her voice laced with venom. "All she will do is try to flirt with everyone and probably get wasted and ruin my day." The words were a well-worn path in her mind, a mantra of her sister's supposed flaws.
Renee sighed, a sound heavy with resignation. "You really do not know your sister, Bella." With that, she turned, leaving Bella alone with her simmering resentment, the silence of the room now amplifying her fury.
