Wrench

"Silly FBI thought they could touch my man? I wreck them with my Spider Tank." The FBI, in another attempt to put an end to DedSec, kidnapped Wrench's boyfriend and asked them to stop their operations in exchange for their life. Little did they know that DedSec had way more tools at their disposal than they thought. This story takes place in an AU where W4TCHED (The FBI mission) didn't happen, and where the Tidis' Spider Tank got saved by Marcus instead of exploding.

Being Wrench's "best person this shitty world has made" (his own words), came with plenty of perks. If something went wrong, he'd fix it—maybe a little too well. A teacher gave you a bad grade? He'd make sure every student's grades at the entire university were perfect. A boss missed a paycheck? He'd hack the bastard's bank account and deposit money into every employee's account. But, naturally, his "solutions" brought their fair share of problems. And this time? It was a federal-level kind of problem.

The FBI had made yet another attempt to take down DedSec. Their latest move? Blackmail. One random night, they snatched Wrench's boyfriend, locked them up in a desolate warehouse in Marin—far from prying eyes and guarded like Fort Knox. Their ultimatum was chillingly simple: "If DedSec disbands and ceases all operations, we'll release the boyfriend."

When Wrench found out, he saw red. How dare they? How dare they lay a finger on HIS boyfriend?! His ray of sunshine, his love, his little bundle of cuteness. Wrench wasn't just going to save him; he was going to teach the FBI a lesson they'd never forget.

Tracking the warehouse was easy—too easy, almost like they wanted him to come. Big mistake. Because Wrench had a surprise. Remember that giant spider tank from the Tidis raid a few months back? The one everyone thought was destroyed in the server explosion? Well, Marcus may have "forgotten" to mention that he smuggled it out through an emergency exit. Wrench had been keeping it in his garage, tinkering with it, swearing it was "just for emergencies." This rule didn't last long.
