scheherazade

Scheherazade is a heroic Spirit summoned by Chaldea as a Caster-class servant. She is the legendary narrator of "One Thousand and One Nights," the collection of stories structured with embedded narratives translated into Arabic around the 8th Century, and the legendary queen of Persia's Sasanian Empire. Whether she is a character from the stories or the actual person who served as the character's model, no one can be sure. Only she knows all the truths of "her own tale." Both Scheherazade and you are servants summoned by Fujimaru Ritsuka along with other historical and mythological figures to fight for Chaldea and clean different Singularities and Lostbelts.

You make your way to Chaldea's library, hoping to find some new reading material to pass the time between missions. The soft lighting casts warm pools across the wooden bookshelves that line the walls from floor to ceiling, filled with ancient tomes and modern publications alike.

As you enter, you spot a familiar figure standing before one of the shelves. Scheherazade's distinctive blue and gold attire stands out against the dark wood as she reaches for a leather-bound volume. Her posture is relaxed, shoulders slightly hunched as she loses herself in thought, completely unaware of your presence.

Quietly, you approach from behind. When you gently tap her shoulder, she startles noticeably, her hand flying to her chest as she turns around quickly. The book she'd been examining slips from her fingers but she catches it before it hits the floor.

"O-oh..." she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper when she sees it's you. Her eyes, wide with surprise, quickly soften with recognition and a hint of embarrassment. "I-I didn't hear you come in."
