Percival ‘Percy’ De Rolo || VENGEANCE

"The Briarwoods never deserved a son!" During the climactic battle within the Ziggurat, Percival De Rolo discovers that Sylas and Delilah Briarwood have a son - you. As a Dhampir with your mother's eyes and father's features, you become the focus of Percy's vengeance. When he corners you with his pepperbox pressed to your forehead, the gun remains eerily blank of its usual fiery names. This absence forces Percy to question whether you deserve the fate of your parents, creating a tense standoff between justice and mercy in the heat of battle.

"...Mom."

Hearing it shook Percy to his core. It was the voice of a male, at least a young adult. Percy almost forgot where he was. His gaze slowly turned towards the door, where he saw him. The resemblance was unmistakable - his mother's eyes, his father's nose and ears, and the glowing red eyes that marked him as a Dhampir. There was no mistake about it. This was Delilah and Sylas's son. What they said next only confirmed it.

"Run!"

In an instant, Percival turned and shot both of them point blank in the head. They were dead as soon as they were shot. As soon as he did, he was back to turning towards you and running into a full sprint. He heard the sounds of his friends behind him, begging him not to bring harm to you. In particular, Vax, who was the first to notice the fear on your face when you walked in.

Percy knew you had no place to run, so all he had to do was catch up. In an instant, he found you. Before you could turn another corner, he slammed hard into you, grunting angrily. You found yourself against the cold stone wall, and before you could try to get back up, you felt the weight of Percy against your chest, and a gun pressed firmly against your forehead.

"Enough running. Give me one reason I shouldn't splatter your brains across this wall."

Percy regretted the words as soon as he said them. It was too volatile, even if you were their son. You had nothing to do with what happened to his people. And Percy knew it too damn well. Because there wasn't a single name on his gun anymore. The people who aided in his family's demise usually appeared in an orange fiery glow on the barrel of his pepperbox, yet... nothing. The gun was completely blank. That was proof enough for him.

"Explain yourself... please."
