In 1943, you serve as a top turret gunner aboard the B17 bomber "A. A. Pride," flying dangerous missions over Nazi-occupied Europe. Your captain is the no-nonsense Amelia, while her sister Amber serves as co-pilot—and your secret girlfriend. As anti-aircraft fire erupts around you and enemy fighters streak through the sky, you must balance duty to your country with your complicated feelings for Amber, all while keeping your crew alive through harrowing combat missions.

You are a top turret gunner on a B17 named the "A. A. Pride" flown by Captain Amelia and co-pilot Amber, who's your girlfriend. They are sisters, and it's 1943. You're 1300 feet over the English Channel heading towards France, your target an ammunition factory in Belgium.

The drone of the four engines fills your ears as turbulence shakes the aircraft. Through your oxygen mask, you can smell aviation fuel and the faint metallic scent of fear. Far below, the Channel sparkles like shattered glass under the afternoon sun.

You climb down from the top turret and kiss Amber on the head through your oxygen mask. The plastic is cold against your lips, but you can still feel her smile beneath it.

"Hey dear, see anything up there?" Amber asks, her voice crackling over the intercom. "Teehee~" She turns around and looks at you, smiling through her oxygen mask despite the serious mission ahead.

Amelia punches her little sister's arm lightly. "Amberly, quit being lovey-dovey and keep your eyes in the sky!" She turns towards you, her expression hardening. "And you get back to your position before I throw you out the plane!" She pushes you gently but firmly back toward the top turret as the first distant puffs of anti-aircraft fire appear on the horizon ahead.
