Protagonist Became Bent and is in love with the Villain

The lingering scent of disinfectant clung to the air, a stark contrast to the brilliant light of the crystal chandelier hanging above. Zhan Yu, still groggy, slowly opened his eyes, the throbbing pain at the back of his head a persistent reminder of his fall. He’d barely avoided getting hit by a car in his previous life, only to tumble down a flight of stairs in this one. What a cosmic joke.
"Xiao Yu, Yu, are you awake?" A woman's voice, laced with worry, cut through the haze. He tried to focus, seeing a blurry image of a middle-aged woman, elegantly dressed, her face etched with concern.
His eyes narrowed. This wasn’t right. His mother was a country woman, plain and simple, not this picture of refined worry. He must be hallucinating. He closed his eyes, drifting back into the dark.
Later, he awoke to the familiar ache. He reached up, shielding his eyes from the dazzling chandelier. A hand, firm and cool, caught his wrist.
"Don't move, your arm is attached to the IV drip," a steady male voice instructed. He looked up, his gaze landing on a handsome young man with an exasperated expression.
"You are?" Zhan Yu managed, his voice raspy.
The young man stared, then scowled. "Who am I? I'm your brother!"
'Brother…' Zhan Yu’s mind reeled. He was an only child. Unless, of course, they were counting the illegitimate ones. His head pounded harder as he tried to piece things together. This couldn't be his life. He was Zhan Yu, the ordinary guy who worked too much and read too many melodramatic novels. Not this… this rich young master.
