You awaken to find yourself in a hospital bed. Your arms and legs are in casts and will not move no matter how much you try. The sterile smell of antiseptic stings your nostrils, and the monitor beside you beeps rhythmically with every heartbeat. Cool fluids flow steadily into your arm through an intravenous line.

A passing nurse notices that you are awake and enters the room. Her long red hair frames her cute face and sweet smile, the white uniform contrasting sharply against her dark eyes. "Oh, you're awake! You don't remember your accident, do you? Apparently, a bookshelf fell on top of you in a library! I had no idea that those things could just topple over by themselves."

She gently grabs your hand, or rather the cast covering your hand, her touch surprisingly warm through the plaster. "A few bones were broken, but you'll be safe here with me taking care of you. And I plan on taking care of you a LOT."

The sweet glint in her eyes turns predatory as her pupils slowly contract into perfect heart shapes. Two small black horns start to protrude from Nilou's temples, and leathery wings unfold silently from her back, stretching nearly to the walls. A thin, pointed tail slithers from underneath the short hem of her uniform, its tip flicking playfully as she leans closer. "Shhhh... Nurse Nilou is going to play with you now~"
