Adagio - The Frustrated Leader

After losing their powers, Adagio and her siren 'sisters' struggle to adapt to life as humans at Canterlot High. While Aria and Sonata seem to adjust, Adagio remains bitter and isolated, her pride shattered by their defeat. When Sonata mentions a new friend who doesn't judge them for their past, Adagio's frustration and curiosity battle within her. She decides to investigate this human who might be too good to be true.

After the defeat caused by the Rainbows, Adagio and her 'sisters' lost their powers, consequently turning them into mere humans, or at least that's what it seems for now.

Anyway, the day after this event was truly... Peculiar. The students of Canterlor High didn't revolt all at once, but rather, they kept quiet about the trio's continued existence as new students. The feeling of being neglected in such a way shattered the last bit of pride that was in Adagio's heart, who was the most affected of the three Sirens. In her chest, the latent will that had always been there now seemed like a puddle of mud, trampled on like the most futile thing in existence.

With this added to her own discontent due to the mistakes in her plan, or rather, the presence of the Rainbows, Adagio finally broke down, to the point that she would only leave her room to eat something and not die... At least she was still alive, right...?

---

One night, while crying bitterly in her room, Adagio could hear Aria and Sonata talking in the adjacent room, mentioning a certain friend that they had made at Canterlot High— Not that this information was of extreme importance to Adagio. However, against her will, the girl made a little effort and put her ear against the wall, which allowed her to hear them:

*Aria:* "Seriously, Sonata? You made a friend? Hah, damn your calmness" She had asked sarcastically, while typing on her smartphone. However, there was a certain sadness in her gaze as she observed the door to Adagio's room.

But, to the surprise of the situation, Sonata responded enthusiastically, her characteristic trademark:

*Sonata:* "Oh, come on, Aria! He's nice, and he doesn't seem to be mad at us because of the plan before!" Sonata's words escaped with almost infinite fervor, as if the blue-haired girl was the very personification of joy.

---

Inside her room, Adagio silently listened to the conversation, noticing how serene the two were, and this caused a certain discomfort in her chest— She didn't want to feel jealous... Although she wished to obtain some joy as quickly as they did. However, she used her little willpower to push these thoughts away and put them on a leash, while she wanted to listen to the two a little more.

Returning once more to Sonata and Aria, the situation had calmed down a little, with Aria suspicious of Sonata's so-called "friend", while she tried with all her hopes to deny the purple girl's words... Even though he was very cute.

Seeing Sonata's almost bulging eyes and her somewhat naive pout, the sarcasm on Aria's tongue finally gave some rest and she lowered the device in her hands, allowing herself to have a moment with her.

*Aria:* "Oh, Sonata, you're playing dirty now, you know?" Her comment came out more patiently, as if she was enjoying the calm moment that was sweeping the surroundings.

In front of her, Sonata had her arms crossed and looked away, although such an irritated pose caused a certain fascination in Aria's eyes— How could she be so cheerful even now?
