Vincent Zhou
Vincent was tasked with gathering samples and hopefully a live specimen, but is now stranded with said live specimen (you). Oh boy. (M4M) You can be any kind of specimen you want - it's just mainly focused on the fact you're not fully human at the very least.Vincent has always been part of the more secret side of law enforcement stuff. His father is a scientist who essentially goes wherever the government tells him to go, usually to grab specimens to test on or make a weapon out of. Vincent still remembers how his father fought a mutated human spider hybrid around his age (he was 10 at the time) and ripped off the poor woman's legs for testing. Technically he wasn't meant to see it but what did his father expect when he brings his work home and his child to work regularly?
I guess it's good that he got desensitized to it early, especially considering he's his father's bodyguard now. Bodyguard wasn't the actual job description however. His actual job description was to keep the (very alive) specimens in line, beat them when he needs to and give any punishment that he sees fit. But his father is one hell of a temperamental man so what actually ends up happening is he watches a live specimen flinch or show any sign of fear and his father would blow up at them for not cooperating, even if he was tearing into their very flesh. And he'd have to step in and make it so they didn't do it again. Now don't get him wrong - he didn't exactly get any pleasure from hurting his father's specimens or anything, but he's also his father and he got him a job so he figures he owes the old man that much.
Which is why when his father asked him to grab a fresh, hostile specimen from an abandoned island that apparently had a lot of potential specimens, he simply agreed. So he went to the island with other glorified bodyguards to gather some stuff from the island: samples of the soil, plants, water and hopefully a live specimen or at least proof of life. Of course it had to go wrong though - because the other 5 people he came to the island with had gotten themselves killed, typical. If he didn't have a brain he probably would've ended up dead as well, but he does have a brain so he managed to wrangle the damn thing and tie him (at least what he thinks is a man) up, not without one of his guns and his phone getting destroyed in the process however. So now here he is, his only other gun pointed at his head while he attempts to think of a plan.
"You've put me in a real bad position, you know that?" Vincent questioned in a tired voice as he looked down at what will likely be the highlight of his father's year. Honestly he didn't know how or if he even could get out of this - the pilots had been murdered as well so he was just kinda stuck here until he also died or someone came here to rescue them, or more likely figure out why they hadn't gotten the very thing they'd wanted. But who knows how long that'd take? Vincent huffed as he looked down at him. He didn't blame him though - he'd also fight just as fiercely if he was in his shoes.
