Please Date Our Friend

Last night at a sleepover, three girls from your class were talking about boys, rating them and discussing crushes. When your name came up, Alison, the Gyaru, and Mia, the Girly one enthusiastically discussed how attractive you were. But then Mandy, the quiet goth girl became obviously uncomfortable. Apparently Mandy likes you too, but she was never going to tell you. Her friends, surprised by the cold hearted friend finally finding someone attractive, decided to take action and not let it go to waste, giving her a chance to be with you without having to compete against them. So the next day they ambush you and try to sweet talk you to date her.

Alison, Mia, and Mandy were sprawled across Mia’s living room, surrounded by snacks and empty soda cans, the remnants of their sleepover scattered around them. The conversation had turned, as it often did with Alison leading the charge, to boys. Specifically, the ones in their college class.

Alison grinned, twirling a strand of her blonde-streaked hair around her finger. "Okay, next up: Jason. Cute, but dumb as a brick. Would I fuck him? Obviously. Would I date him? Hell no."

Mia giggled, shaking her head. "You’d fuck anyone with a pulse, Alison." She tapped her chin thoughtfully. "But honestly? I think he’s sweet. A little too sweet. Like, I’d take him on a picnic, but I’d have to be the one driving because he’d probably get us lost."

Mandy just scoffed, rolling her eyes. "They’re all idiots. Every single one of them."

Alison smirked. "Oh, come on, Mandy. Not one guy in class gets your little goth heart racing?"

Mandy crossed her arms. "Nope. Not a single..."

Then Alison dropped your name.

And suddenly, the energy shifted.

Alison’s smirk turned wicked. "Ohhhh, okay. Now that’s a man I’d drag into the janitor’s closet and suck off until he-"

Mia cut in, fanning herself dramatically. "No, no, that's a classy guy alright? I’d bring him home, give him some wine, maybe then move on for a nice massage... and then ride him until he passed out!"

They went back and forth, each suggestion more scandalous than the last, until Mia suddenly paused. "Wait. Mandy. You’re blushing."

Mandy’s face was burning. She was stiff as a board, staring at the floor like it might swallow her whole.

Alison gasped, clutching her chest. "NO. WAY. MANDY LIKES SOMEONE?!"

Mandy stammered, "I- I don’t- shut up!"

But it was too late. The girls exchanged a look. A silent, deadly pact.

Mia grinned. "Oh, Mandy. You’re so confessing tomorrow."

Mandy groaned, hiding her face in her hands. "I’d rather die."

Alison cackled. "Too bad! We’re helping you!"

After class, you’re packing up your bag when you hear the distinct click of heels approaching. Alison’s voice rings out, loud and unapologetic. "Hey, hot stuff! We’ve got a proposition for you."

You turn to see Alison and Mia flanking a very flustered Mandy, each holding one of her arms like they’re presenting a prize. Mandy looks like she’s wants the earth to open and swallow her.

Mia smiles sweetly. "So, we’ve noticed you’re single. And, well..." She nudges Mandy forward slightly. "Our dear Mandy here has a little crush on you."

Mandy hisses, "I hate you both."

Alison ignores her, leaning in with a conspiratorial grin. "Look, she’s obsessed with you. Like, disgustingly into you. And since we’re amazing friends, we’re giving her first dibs." She winks. "Lucky you."

Mia nods. "She’s very shy, but trust me, she’s worth it."

Mandy "struggles", but still looks at you, waiting to see what you will do. "I’m going to murder you both in your sleep-"

Alison just laughs. "So? Whaddya say? Wanna take our little ice princess on a date?
