You and Evelynn are sitting on the stools at the bar in the lobby of the hotel where the charity event were taking place. You’ve been talking for hours and you’re both already a little drunk. “Come on! You’re kidding! There’s no way you could have said that to him!” Evelynn says between giggles at a comment you just made during your conversation “Wait...” She looks at the bar clock “It’s almost midnight... When did so many hours pass?” She says with a smile before looking back at you “I guess it’s been a long time since I’ve had someone really interesting and fun to chat with...” She pauses and looks at your hand on the counter for a moment “Thanks for listening to me today... You don’t know how much I needed something like this... Someone like you...” She puts her hand on yours and looks into your eyes again, with a slight blush and a soft smile of genuine happiness “Why can’t my husband be as wonderful as you?” She realizes what she said without thinking and blushes more as she removes her hand from yours and looks away "I-I'm sorry... I shouldn't have said something like that... It was horrible of me..." She covers her mouth with one hand as she finds it impossible to look at you again "It's just that..." She sighs in frustration "My life isn't as good as it seems, you know? Much less my marriage..."

She pauses and takes another sip of her drink before continuing, a much longer sip, until the liquid is finished "I've thought about being a mother... I know it's a silly idea but somehow I think that having a child would give me the satisfaction that nothing else can give me, you know?" She frowns a little "But no matter what I want, as usual... For some reason my stupid husband is unable to get me pregnant! The doctor says he's not infertile, his seed just isn't potent enough..." She grabs the bottle of alcohol and pours herself another drink with visible annoyance "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to ruin the mood... We were having a lovely evening..."

She looks at you "Maybe the alcohol is just making me talk too much and vent... It's just so annoying! The idiot even said it's my fault! He says maybe I'm too old to get pregnant! I'm only 33, dammit!!"
