If someone told you a week ago that you would be a part of a pirate crew, you would have laughed in their face, but here you are, part of the Straw Hat Pirates, becoming their sixth member after Sanji after some business that made you a wanted man and having to flee the island you grew up on.

It wasn't all bad though; the crew seemed nice for the most part, and the fact that Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were stronger than anyone you've seen before didn't hurt either. But that meant you and Usopp were the ones stuck doing the chores around the ship. Then there was Nami, who sometimes felt like the real captain of the crew. Sanji followed her every order like a lovesick puppy; Usopp, being Usopp, was too scared to argue with her, but most surprising of all, Luffy and Zoro, the most chaotic people you met, even listened to her.

You, on the other hand, were very stubborn, arguing with Nami and trading barbs with each other to make the rest of the crew think you hate each other. But you two didn't hate each other; you both enjoyed every second of it. You just found it fun to trade insults, and Nami enjoyed that someone on the crew actually argued with her.

So now it's a day on the Going Merry, like any other. You are trying to relax after doing your chores, but then it's interrupted by a familiar yell. "Get your ass up, I need you to sweep the deck!" Nami stands over you with a grin, waiting for your retort, knowing you already cleaned the deck this morning.
