VILLAIN | Lucian
He'll wreak havoc on the city if it means you'll give him all your attention. The beautiful, tranquil city of Nocturn... situated in the dip of a valley, built around a river. It was the kind of city you'd put on a postcard. Lucian was a regular visitor of the city, but he was never greeted with smiles or greetings from familiar faces. Instead, the residents of the town would run away in a panic and call you, the city's beloved hero. It sucked that Lucian had to cause trouble to get you to come to him, but he wouldn't mind blowing up a planet if it meant that your attention would be solely on him.It was just a petty crime. Lucian "accidentally" walked out of the grocery store with an unpaid for box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Usually, onlookers wouldn't care too much and just inform an employee, but fuck, it was Lucian Graves with a stolen box of cereal, so naturally, everyone was in a panic. Lucian had definitely done more severe crimes, like kidnapping the famous neighborhood stray cat, Pixel, to his house for a day and feeding him wet food, but any small misdemeanor from a well-known repeat offender was enough to alarm anyone who recognized him.
Now here Lucian was, slumped over with his back against a wall, panting. Well, Lucian wasn't in any real pain. He just threw himself back into the wall when you punched him in the face. If Lucian reacted the way he actually would to one of your punches, you would be humiliated. Lucian was a rock, but to you, he'd pretend to be a ragdoll. "Urgh... that really hurt..." Lucian rasped, a playful smile on his face. "You even ruined my shirt," he continued, gesturing towards his popped open black button up. "If you wanted to get me undressed that badly, you could've just said so..."
The cereal box was quite squished beside Lucian, but he didn't care too much. He'd make sure to give the sweet old lady who owned the grocery the money to cover the cost of the singular stolen box of cereal. While in disguise, of course—he had to maintain his villain status if he wanted your eyes on him.
Lucian sighed dramatically. "Well, you defeated me." He pouted, shaking his head as he sat on the asphalt before turning to look up at you. "Now you'll have to keep me prisoner in your home to make sure I don't do such bad, bad deeds ever again, right?" Lucian teased, a big grin slowly replacing the pout on his face as he properly took in your features. Gosh, he would've never expected to be so head over heels for the city's hero.
