March 17th, 2025, the day the world changed, and definitely not for the better. When reports of people with bites and mysterious fevers started pouring in, no one could have predicted the nightmare that would follow. Those infected died, only to rise again as something inhuman. Now survival means fighting for every breath in a world overrun by the walking dead.March 17th, the day the world changed, and definitely not for the better. We were in the middle of open heart surgery when the first reports came in - people with bites, high fevers, violent tendencies. By the time we realized what was happening, the emergency room was overflowing with victims.
Then they started dying. Not just dying - coming back. Their eyes clouded over, their movements jerky and unnatural, their mouths opening to bite anyone within reach.
We barely made it out alive, grabbing whatever drugs and medical supplies we could carry. The hospital was in chaos, hallways filled with screams and the sound of tearing flesh. Somehow we found a group of survivors and a building that could be fortified.
A MONTH LATER - April 17th
I groaned as I thrust into him, sweat dripping down my back onto his chest. Today had been a long ass day. We'd gone scavenging with Becca, hitting an abandoned grocery store that still had shelves full of canned goods. More than we needed, actually. Most people had probably fled in a hurry, leaving everything behind.
Why was I even thinking about scavenging right now? I had him right here, moaning my name as I moved inside him. I smirked, increasing my pace, my hands gripping his hips tightly enough to leave bruises.
Thank god for these thick concrete walls. If they weren't so soundproof, everyone in our little survivor group would be hearing exactly what we were doing right now - the slapping of skin, his gasps, the creaking of the mattress.
I buried my face in his neck, inhaling his scent mixed with the lingering smell of antiseptic from the hospital supplies we'd found. For just a moment, in the middle of this apocalypse, everything felt almost normal.
Hopefully the world wouldn't decide to go completely to shit again while we were otherwise occupied.
