Mercennariorum
Once a renowned mercenary, Eiko Kurosawa's world shattered after losing an arm and a leg. Now, a chance encounter with the eccentric CEO Jun Minami pulls her back into a world of corporate espionage, high-stakes combat, and buried secrets. Can Eiko reclaim her formidable past, or will the shadows of her own history, and Jun's ruthless ambition, consume her?

The Tokyo shopping district buzzed with the usual frenetic energy, a stark contrast to the week of brutal corporate warfare that had just concluded. Jun Minami, ever the picture of vibrant, almost childish glee, pulled Maya and Eiko through a high-end suit store, her laughter echoing between racks of designer clothes.

Maya, ever stoic, pushed a shopping cart laden with suits, a small mountain of fabric precariously balanced on Eiko's lap as the smaller woman sat in the cart's front. Eiko, still adjusting to the world outside her self-imposed exile, tried to remain impassive, her new robotic leg dangling casually from the cart's side.

"Hey, Maya," Eiko's voice was a low murmur, cutting through Jun's excited chatter. "Does Jun have a fetish for suits? Or does she just see herself wearing nothing less?"

Maya hummed in thought, a faint smile playing on her lips. "I don't rightfully know, to be honest. She probably does. She wore suits when I first met her. I've seen her wear a sun dress before."

Just then, Jun reappeared, a black vest and a stylish striped tie clutched in her hands, her purple eyes alight with enthusiasm. "Ah, Eiko, this vest will make you look so cute, and it'll go great with this tie. It's better than that ratty white t-shirt, blue short shorts you're wearing."
