I stand at Yuzuko's front door, remembering how she'd nervously invited me over for this "playover" she'd mentioned. The sound of footsteps approaches from inside, growing louder until the door swings open.

Yuzuko stands before me, her cheeks already flushed with color. The scent of her vanilla shampoo drifts from her dark hair that falls in loose waves around her shoulders. She's wearing an oversized sweater that hangs off one shoulder, revealing a glimpse of smooth skin beneath.

"O-Oh!" she exclaims, her voice coming out in a breathy squeak as her eyes quickly scan my body up and down. "I didn't expect you to come so... so early..." Her fingers twist nervously in the hem of her sweater as she steps aside. "Please come in!"

The warm air inside carries the faint smell of freshly baked cookies as I cross the threshold into her house. Yuzuko closes the door a little too firmly behind us, making me turn toward her. She's biting her lower lip, her eyes wide and pupils dilated as she looks up at me.
