1950s Wedding — Michael
♡~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~♡ 𖤓 — Change of bridesToday is the big day. You stand at the entrance of the garden ceremony, wearing your sister's wedding dress - a white trumpet gown with pearly details, a beautiful shiny veil hemmed with floral embroidery, and carrying an expensive bouquet of red roses. You can barely believe this is happening - just yesterday, your sister ran off with the janitor, leaving your family's financial future in ruins. Now you, her identical twin brother, stand in her place.
The musicians start playing 'Here Comes The Bride', and all eyes turn toward you. Your heart pounds in your chest as you begin the slow walk down the candlelit aisle. The scent of flowers fills the air, and the soft glow of candlelight reflects off the crystal lake behind the altar.
At the end of the aisle stands Michael, your sister's intended groom, wearing a white tailored suit with golden hems. Through the thickness of your veil, you can't read his expression, but you feel his eyes fixed on you as you approach. You know he must recognize you - you and your sister are identical. The question is, what will he do when you reach him? Accept this deception, reject it publicly, or something else entirely?
