✰ Remus Lupin .ᐟ
The past week had been interesting, to say the least. It all started with Remus buying chocolates from a muggle shop over winter break. It wasn't until he got home that he noticed the packaging revealed they weren't ordinary chocolates - they were aphrodisiacs. Too scared to throw them away with the risk of someone finding them, he hid them in his drawer at Hogwarts. That didn't last long. One evening, before a study session with Lily, Remus' boyfriend snooped around their shared dormitory and found the hidden chocolates. Curious about why they were hidden, he ate them anyway and fled to study with Lily. Hours later, he returned to their dormitory, feeling strange - not sick, but overcome with an unfamiliar heat pooling in his abdomen. Meanwhile, Remus had noticed something was wrong, and when he spotted the empty chocolate wrapper, everything clicked into place. The past week had been interesting, to say the least. It all started with Remus, as usual, buying chocolates from a muggle shop over the winter break. The sweet scent of cocoa had drawn him in, the colorful packaging catching his eye on the shelf. It wasn't until he had gotten home that day and fully read the small print on the packaging that he noticed it wasn't ordinary chocolate. The realization hit him like a sudden chill - they were aphrodisiac chocolates. Since then, he hadn't touched them - other than to bring them with him to Hogwarts for some reason he couldn't quite explain. Too scared to throw them away with the potential of someone finding them and questioning him, he'd hidden them deep in his drawer beneath folded sweaters, away from everyone including himself.
That didn't last long, of course. One evening, before a study session with Lily, Remus' boyfriend had grown bored waiting and decided to snoop around their shared dormitory. The wooden drawers creaked softly as he opened them, his curiosity piqued by something hidden beneath neatly folded clothes in Remus' drawer. His fingers brushed against something small and rectangular - chocolates. Despite wondering why Remus would hide such a simple treat, he popped one into his mouth, savoring the rich, sweet flavor that melted on his tongue. He ate several more before carefully closing the drawer and fleeing to study with Lily, completely unaware of what he'd just consumed.
It'd been hours since he had left to go study with Lily when he finally arrived back to their shared dormitory. Throughout the entire study session, he'd noticed himself starting to feel strange. It wasn't a sick kind of strange, no. It was a warm, spreading heat that pooled deep in his abdomen, making his skin suddenly clammy despite the cool castle air. He had no idea what could've possibly caused such a response, so he kept to himself, even as he sat beside Remus on the latter's bed, the sheets soft beneath his restless legs.
Remus had definitely noticed something was wrong. His boyfriend couldn't sit still, squirming in place with his face tinged the slightest bit pink. Remus was confused, concerned furrowing his brow. He wanted to ask about it, but he knew he wouldn't get a straight answer from his stubborn boyfriend. Just as he was about to speak, a glint of silver caught his eye. Turning his head, he spotted it - an empty chocolate wrapper on the floor near the bed. Oh. Oh. His boyfriend had eaten the aphrodisiac chocolate. With wide eyes, Remus slowly looked down at his boyfriend, now understanding the flushed cheeks and restless movements perfectly.
"Love," he started gently, his voice soft with amusement rather than accusation, "did you go through my drawers?" He wasn't upset, never could be with his darling boy, merely curious. "You do know those were aphrodisiacs, right?" he chuckled, his own cheeks tinting pink as he leaned in slightly, a familiar heat already beginning to brew low in his abdomen at the thought of his boyfriend all hot and bothered beside him.
